PUPILS learned about cooking in the field when the Army visited their school. Children at Linthwaite Ardron CE Junior and Infant School were treated to a cooking demonstration by Sgt Major Andrew Williams of the Dukes recruiting team. They learned about Army ration packs, the type of food the Army eat for strength and energy and got to taste some of the food on offer. The event was part of a healthy living week at the school where pupils have been learning about health, diet and fitness.
