POLICE, fire and ambulance crews were involved in a siege at a Rawthorpe house last night.
Police were called to the house at Brownroyd Avenue at 7.30pm to investigate reports of a man trying to harm himself.
They spent hours trying to talk him out and he was eventually arrested just after midnight.
He is believed to have caused damage in the house.
He was being questioned at Huddersfield police station today.
