ARSONISTS broke into a flat and set fire to it yesterday .
The incident happened at the ground-floor home in Brownroyd Avenue, Rawthorpe, at 3.05pm.
The intruders entered while the householders were out and set fire to papers.
The living room was badly damaged and the rest of the flat was smoke- logged.
A neighbour called fire crews after smelling burning.
