AN exhibition of art by local artists is brightening up the walls of a church this weekend.
The 10th annual exhibition at All Saints in Elland runs from today to Monday.
The Dean of Wakefield, the Very Rev George Nairn- Briggs, opened the exhibition.
On show are 450 pictures, created using a range of techniques, including oil, watercolour, pen and ink and embroidery.
There are also be designs in glassware and metalware.
All the works have been created by local artists, who have taken their inspiration from a number of subjects, including plantlife, wildlife and local scenery.
Organ music is being played throughout the days and refreshments are provided.
All the art is for sale, with prices ranging from £7 to £350.
The exhibition runs from 10am to 5pm today and Monday and noon to 5pm tomorrow.
Entry costs £1, but is free for children.
