AN ALMONDBURY therapist has received a gift - after enabling a patient to paint again.
Artist John Harris, of Brighouse, had to give up his hobby after a cycling accident left him with severe headaches and neck pain.
Now thanks to a series of four treatments at the Pain Relief Centre, Longley Road, he has been able to return to painting again.
John underwent reflextherapy for spinal pain followed by reflexology at the clinic, and to thank physiotherapist Georgie Oldfield for the cure, he painted her a picture of Huddersfield landmark Castle Hill.
Georgie said: "It is such a lovely gesture. I am really pleased.
"It is hung on my wall in the clinic for all my patients to see.
"It's wonderful."
