A NEW discussion and arts group launches in Marsden next month.
“Red Letters” will be based at Marsden Socialist Club each month and will offer people the chance to discuss radical art, artists, politics and the environment.
The first meeting is at 8pm on December 6 and will feature political musicians Steve and Annie Garnut.
From January, the group will have a different theme each month and plan to include music, play readings, art, dance, poetry and lectures.
One of the organisers, John-Paul Cherrington, said: “It is an opportunity to find out what is happening locally, to meet like-minded people and to network with other artists and political thinkers”.
