AN ALCOHOLIC married couple have been banned from part of Huddersfield town centre.
Sheepridge pair David Green, 46, and Yvette Green, 31, were banned from St Peter’s Gardens and the Byram Street Precinct following nuisance behaviour.
They were barred from carrying open alcohol containers in public as part of temporary anti-social behaviour orders (Asbos).
Huddersfield magistrates will decide whether to extend the Asbos on September 25.
A couple who abused and intimidated staff at four shops have been slapped with temporary Asbos.
Helen Steadman, 32, and boyfriend Dean Porter, 28, hurled racial slurs and threats at an employee of Priceless Shoes on New Street, Huddersfield, in April this year.
A month earlier the pair, from Holmfirth, followed another employee to Huddersfield railway station, shouting threats and abuse.
The couple also threatened and swore at employees at the Co-op in Holmfirth, along with staff at the Co-op and Somerfield stores in Honley between May and June.
Steadman was alleged to have spat in the face of an employee at Somerfield.
Magistrates banned the pair from the above shops as part of a temporary Aabo.
Magistrates will decide whether to extend the order next month.
