A WOMAN has become the second person in a week to be convicted in Huddersfield for playing loud music. Victoria Heath was prosecuted for playing loud music in a case taken to Huddersfield Magistrates Court by Kirklees Council. Earlier this week, a Birchencliffe man was fined and had stereo and computer equipment confiscated for being a noise nuisance. Heath admitted the music disturbed neighbours in Brownroyd Avenue, Rawthorpe. She was fined £150 plus costs of £100 and a victim surcharge of £15. The court also made her subject to a post-conviction Anti-Social Behaviour Order for a period of two years and ordered that she forfeit the sound equipment seized.
