Best foot forward . . . Asda staff members high kicked their way through a fitness marathon to raise money for breast cancer.
About 50 staff at Asda's supermarket in Brackenhall, Huddersfield, were put through their paces in the trolley park by fitness instructors from the McAlpine Stadium Health and Fitness Centre.
The day-long aerobics marathon was part of the store's efforts for breast cancer awareness month. And instead of uniforms, the staff wore something pink.
With the help of other events, they hope to raise about £3,000 for Breast Cancer Research. Organiser Judith Alderman said: "Everybody loved it. We had many people taking part, including the managers and the men.
"General store manager Russell Gamble took part wearing a pink feather boa.
"The event was sponsored, but customers were also throwing money into buckets for us."
