COLNE Valley people will have the chance to quiz social services staff next month.
For speakers from Kirklees social services will be at the next meeting of the council's Colne Valley area committee.
Committee chairwoman Clr Margaret Fearnley urged people to go to hear them at Marsden Mechanics' Hall, Peel Street, at 7pm on Thursday, September 9.
She said: "I hope people will come to find out what social services do generally, but more specifically in the Colne Valley.
"I'm also hoping people will learn something and share that information with others, to help spread the word about what help is out there," added Clr Fearnley.
Committee members also hope people will bring questions to the meeting.
These can be submitted in advance, so officers can come with the information.
Clr Robert Iredale will chair the meeting.
