THIS car fire brought hold-ups to one of Huddersfield’s busiest roads.
The driver of the Peugeot car spotted the flames pouring from under the bonnet as he approached the Shore Head roundabout from Wakefield Road.
Huddersfield firefighters quickly had the blaze under control but there was damage to the car engine.
Police halted traffic at the Wakefield Road/Firth Street junction while the blaze was tackled.
