TWO men have been arrested after an assault in Dewsbury.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life threatening after an assault which happened at 3am.
Police closed a stretch of the A638 Halifax Road between its junctions with Carlton Road and West Park Street while they gathered forensic evidence.
The road remained closed until 1.30pm yesterday, causing problems for motorists who were forced to take alternative routes.
