A 53-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with assaulting children.
Michael John Patrick Folan has also been accused of breaching an Anti Social Behaviour Order imposed on October 8 last year.
Folan, of no fixed address, is accused of common assault on two youngsters, one aged 12 and a three-year-old.
The offences are alleged to have taken place on February 27 this year.
Folan was remanded in custody by Huddersfield magistrates.
His next court hearing will be on Thursday when he will appear by videolink.
