A MAN was attacked by two men he had argued with in a pub.

The victim, aged 39 and from Crosland Moor, was drinking in the Woolpack on Lockwood Road, Lockwood, on Friday evening when he became involved in an argument next to the pool table.

The two other men involved were asked to leave and did.

The victim then went to another pub, before popping to a news- agents on Lockwood Road for cigarettes at 8pm.

As he left the shop, something hit the back of his head.

He then saw the two men from the pub.

They attacked him, knocked him to the ground and punched and kicked him.

After the attack the victim needed stitches in a head wound.

One attacker is white, aged 26 to 28 and chubby, with straight, dark hair.

He wore three-quarter- length beige or fawn shorts and a dark top.

The other man is also white, 5ft 10in tall and with short, fair hair. He wore a white T-shirt and stone-washed jeans.
