A WOMAN has appeared before magistrates accused of perverting the course of justice.
Emma Louise Goodwin, 24, of School Houses, Salendine Nook, was arrested on October 12.
At Huddersfield Magistrates' Court yesterday she spoke only to confirm her name and address.
A huge police investigation was launched after Goodwin said she had been dragged into scrubland off Slant Gate at Linthwaite and assaulted on Wednesday, September 1.
After a nine-day investigation police halted the search for the attacker, who was dubbed the Teatime Sex Beast.
Goodwin will appear before Bradford Crown Court on October 27.
