A MAN who suffers from epilepsy was beaten in an attack outside his Huddersfield home.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the assault that took place in Lockwood on November 17.

The 26-year old man was assaulted by two men outside his home on Lockwood Road at about 5pm.

The victim received facial injuries that required hospital treatment and had an epileptic fit.

The suspects could only be described as being two white men wearing dark clothing and who had English accents.

Inquiries into the assault are ongoing.

Any witnesses or anyone who saw two men loitering in the Lockwood Road area before or after 5pm are asked to contact PC Khalid Sadiq at the Huddersfield South Neighbourhood Policing Team by ringing 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
