LOCAL author Vivien Teasdale is to share stories about Huddersfield’s Textile mill history at the next meeting for the Local History Society.
The talk takes place at Huddersfield Library tonight (7.30pm).
The event costs £1, payable at the door and is open to the public.
The talk will cover the background of the mills and will give advice on how to put together a local history book.
Vivien has published three books on Huddersfield Mills.
She studied History at Huddersfield Polytechnic before becoming a teacher. She currently works as an IT teacher at Brooksbank School in Elland.
