A GROUP helping Huddersfield people living with pain has won an award for its work with the community.
The HELP group has been given funding by Asda after working in the store at Aspley, where they held an awareness day.
The group meets every other Friday at the Huddersfield Library in Princess Alexandra Walk, between 1pm and 5pm.
Founder Bernadette Bray said: “There are lots of people who have to put up with pain from all sorts of conditions and we are there to try and help them all. We try and be there for people and if possible we direct them to self-management programmes to try and get on with their lives despite the conditions”.
