A LOCAL poet has claimed another award.
Jo Haslam received the joint second prize from 12,000 entries at the National Poetry Society Competition in London.
She has been working for 20 years at Kirklees Library Service as a bibiliotherapist and Customer Service Office in Slaithwaite library.
Jo is no newcomer to poetry as she took second prize in the same contest in 2005, has won other competitions and has seen her work printed in several publications.
