A BRACKENHALL teenager has received the Boys’ Brigade’s highest accolade.

Jonathon Ward, 17, has been in the 4th Huddersfield Company of the Brigade for 12 years – since he was five years old.

He has now been awarded the Queen’s Badge – the highest award for the Brigade.

Jonathon earned his award by working with young members and completing a study of the work of the Red Cross.

He was presented with the Badge by Roy Barson, past president of the Yorkshire Brigade.
