BAILIFF Bridge residents have been given crime prevention advice in a bid to beat the burglars.
Officers from the Lower Valley Neighbourhood Policing Team joined forces with local residents to issue advice.
Insp Mohammed Nawaz, met the residents at the local community centre.
He spoke about crime prevention and handed out leaflets to people to pass on to their neighbours.
He said: “By just following a few easy crime prevention tips – some of them as easy as just keeping your doors and windows locked – you can go a long way to preventing crime.”
