A WOMAN has been receiving text messages with someone else’s bank details.

The Huddersfield woman says she’s received daily messages from Lloyds TSB at 8am since before Christmas.

But she has never been a customer of the bank.

Instead, part of an account number and currently balance of someone else is sent to her.

She said: “I went to the bank and they said they can’t do anything.

“So be aware your account details might be in the hands of someone else.

“I’m not even with Lloyds TSB, thank goodness.”

A spokeswoman for Lloyds TSB said no confidential information was included on the text messages but she said the problem would be resolved immediately.

She said the problem occurs when people changed phone numbers but did not inform the bank.
