A FUNDRAISING event for the tsunami disaster appeal has raised more than £1,000.
A pool and dominoes knockout and raffle at the Dreamers Bar on Bradford Road, Fartown, raised £1,010.64.
It was jointly organised by Manjog Sandhu, owner of the Dreamers Bar and garage owner Johnny Flowers, of the Ashbrow garage on Bradford Road.
Bar staff are hosting another fundraising event on January 20 with London-based reggae singers.
They are also collecting clothing and other items for the appeal.
A TSUNAMI charity concert will be held at Longwood Bowling Club tomorrow.
The artists appearing include Sarah Jay, Sole Providers, Adam Q and Carolyn Romiley
The event will also include a raffle, auction and bingo and begins at 1pm.
Admission is free.
