Fire crews were called to Batley to tackle a blaze the town's working men's club

Officers were called at 1.15pm today to the site in Wellington Street, caught on camera by Al Mubarak above.

A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "This is a fire involving the building, which has started on the ground floor and spread to the first floor.

"No people were inside the building and no-one has been injured.

"Three engines are at the scene from Dewsbury, Rastrick and Stanningley fire stations as well as the Aerial Ladder Platform from Leeds."
