Beanz meanz money as TK Maxx store workers in Huddersfield do their bit for Comic Relief

BRAVE shop workers Neema Kaur and Emma Parker were covered in baked beans on Saturday to raise cash for Comic Relief.

The pair, who work at TK Maxx, Kingsgate, endured the contents of 130 tins as part of the store’s Comic Relief campaign.

Store team leader Stephany Cawthorne said: “It wasn’t just a beans bath – we like to be a bit more interactive.”

Instead of just sitting in a bath of beans, customers paid to pour buckets of beans over Neema and Emma, to raise cash for the appeal.
