A WOMAN accused of helping a banned driver get behind the wheel has appeared in court.
Emma Daniels, of Bishop’s Court in Berry Brow, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.
She is accused of aiding or abetting Benjamin Thomas, who is disqualified from driving, in using a car.
Daniels is also alleged to have allowed him to drive a car at Lindley Moor Road without insurance.
The 20-year-old denies the charges.
She was due to stand trial at the Huddersfield court yesterday.
But magistrates told her that her case had to be adjourned due to a lack of court time.
Daniels’ trial date was refixed for September 25.
She was told that her case will take priority on that date.
