IMPROVED parking will be brought in at a Huddersfield leisure centre.
The work at The Zone, off St Andrew’s Road, follows new record visitor numbers.
February was the busiest period the facility has ever recorded, with more than 15,000 through its doors.
The Zone offers children’s play and activities, a youth gym, dance sessions, cheerleading and sports pitches.
The improved parking facilities will include spaces for people with disabilities.
Work has started and the new arrangements are scheduled to be in place before the start of the Easter holiday period.
