SINGER Jenna Iredale has landed two big dates.
The Huddersfield pop star in the making is to sing at a monster truck show in Sheffield on Saturday.
And a week later she will be back in the South Yorkshire city, hoping to sing to 25,000 fans at a soccer match.
Jenna, 19, of Taylor Hill, is to sing at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane ground on Saturday.
The truck event will be attended by about 10,000 people.
It will feature United players and a range of attractions, including monster trucks, the fire brigade, police, Territorial Army and a vintage car show. An 007 car from the James Bond films will also be featured.
Jenna said: "I will be performing three songs. I cannot wait.
"I was even asked to sing at half-time at a football match the following Saturday."
August 7 sees Sheffield United hosting Premiership big boys Tottenham Hotspur in a game expected to attract 25,000 people.
Jenna has a new demo record out.
She is a former student of Huddersfield Technical College and studied in the same department as Justin Hawkins, of The Darkness pop group.
She has vocal training twice a week with Sheffield-based singer Richie Pitts, who found fame in the 1960s with The Fantastics.
