Jeremy is Brighouse born but moved out to Macau, China for work. He worked for the Examiner sports department between 1984 and 1986 and now works as Editor of the official magazine of the Olympic Council of Asia.

He says "Macau is a fascinating place to live, known as the Las Vegas of the Far East because of all the glitzy casinos (Venetian, Galaxy, Sands etc) but with so much more to offer due to its colonial past under the Portuguese. (It transferred back to China in 1999, two years after Hong Kong). Churches, government buildings, village squares and, of course, restaurants with a Portuguese-Chinese fusion and cheap Portuguese wines.

I visited Yangon, Myanmar (or Rangoon, Burma, if you prefer) with my two daughters recently and took many photos of the local people (with a paste from tree bark to protect their skin from the sun and give a good complexion), monks, pagodas and other landmarks of this amazing country."
