YOUNG dancers from Huddersfield are to take part in a special event.

Yorkshire Dance and Youth Dance England are set to take over West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds for a spectacular day of dance in March.

The highlight of the day will be the evening’s performance, Fresh 2011.

In it, nine youth dance companies will take to the Playhouse’s Quarry Theatre stage.

More than 120 dancers, aged between 11 and 19 years old, will include the Constellation dance group based in Huddersfield.
