A FATHER-of-two has been killed in a motorcycle crash.
John Crowther, 44, was certified dead at the scene after his bike was in collision with a lorry on Stainland Road at the junction with Burrwood Way, Holywell Green, just after midday yesterday.
Mr Crowther, of Station Road, Holywell Green, leaves a widow, Jane, and two children, 15-year-old Thomas and nine-year-old Harriett.
He worked as a warehouseman.
An inquest was due to open in Halifax today.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the tragedy.
