CHILDREN at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School thought they looked like "little ants" in aerial photographs taken from a helicopter when it visited school.

Pupils were treated to a special flight-related lesson when the company Heli-Wise Ltd came to the Dalton school.

Aerial photographs were taken from, showing the students arranging a 'Welcome Logo' design on the playground.

Paul White, director of Heli-Wise Ltd, said: "They were given a flight-related outdoor assembly . Each class is photographed by our helicopter including shots of the school from all angles- north, south, east and west.

“This forms part of the 16-page souvenir book which the parents will be able to buy”.
