A 35-year-old mother-of-one who is accused of firearms and drugs offences is expected to stand trial in January.

Charlie Maclean, of Corby Street, Birkby, appeared before a judge at Bradford Crown Court yesterday alongside 28-year-old Dino Liburd, of the same address.

The pair face allegations relating to the unauthorised possession of two firearms as well as a Taser gun and Class B and C drugs.

Judge John Potter confirmed that a trial date had been fixed for January 23, but the two defendants will be back at Bradford Crown Court on January 5 for a plea and case management hearing.

There was no application for bail on Liburd’s behalf and he was remanded back into custody.

Maclean had her conditional bail extended until the hearing.

Maclean’s bail includes a night-time curfew at her home and a ban on having any contact with Liburd.
