HUNDREDS of pupils will have extra days off school next week because of problems caused by the weather.
Birkdale High School in Wheelwright Drive, Dewsbury, will stay closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week for emergency repairs.
Pipes burst because of the freezing temperatures and engineers have yet to fix the problems.
The school is without heating and flood damage has to be repaired.
