A TEENAGE motorcyclist hurt in an accident in Crosland Moor more than two weeks ago remains critically ill in hospital.
The 17-year-old youth suffered serious head injuries in the incident in Blackmoorfoot Road on Saturday, April 30.
A relative said he had come off his motorcycle having braked while riding down Blackmoorfoot Road.
He hit some parked cars and slid beneath a Ford Transit van which was driving up the hill, having turned into Blackmoorfoot Road from Ivy Street.
The accident happened shortly after 6pm, close to the former St Luke’s Hospital site.
The Crosland Moor rider is detained in the intensive care unit at Leeds General Infirmary.
