A CAR and garage were damaged by fire.
The fire is thought to have started at 3.30pm yesterday under the bonnet of the Metro after it was left in the garage at The Park, off Towngate, Southowram.
The car engine and bodywork were damaged and the garage was damaged by the heat and smoke.
* A stolen car was left on fire with its engine still running.
The Ford Fiesta had been dumped in the car park of the Dalton pub on Holays in Dalton.
The blaze was discovered at 5.45am yesterday.
