A MAN has been found dead on a motorway near Huddersfield.
The man in his early 20s was discovered near a bridge close to junction 38 on the M1 at 3am today.
This is the turn-off for Huddersfield.
By first light the hard shoulder and the first lane on the northbound carriageway remained closed while police worked at the scene. Bramley Lane, which runs from Bretton to Woolley, was also sealed off .
A post mortem was due to be held today .
