PUPILS from a dance school rocked the stage with their energetic new show at the Lawrence Batley Theatre.
The Bodyrockerz School of Dance staged its Energy Epidemic show, which highlighted how much the pupils have progressed since the school was set up two years ago.
It moved to its current studio in Albion Mills, Milnsbridge, just a year ago and now has 150 pupils of all ages, from four up to adults.
The dancers performed solo and in pairs in styles including freestyle, street dance, line dancing and rock and roll.
There were also nine dance teams – Baby Dolls, Delicious, Devotion, Relentless, Ballistic, Rouge, Panache, Sublime and Spice – performing in a variety of styles.
The show also involved a series of spectacular costume changes.
Dance school principal Amanda Revitt said: “All the pupils have worked hard in the months leading up to the show and were very excited. The standard was pleasingly high and the very positive feedback has been brilliant.”
All the pupils are working towards dance exams and competitions.
