VILLAGERS have been invited to a fund-raising plant sale in the Colne Valley.
Bolster Moor Community Association is hosting the event at the Westwood Christian Centre during next weekend.
Colne Valley MP Jason McCartney is due to visit the event, which will also include cream teas and a special children’s colouring corner.
The sale of plants takes place next Saturday, August 4 from 11am to 4pm.
All proceeds will go to the village’s community association.
Anyone who would like to contribute plants, herbs or shrubs should bring them on the day or, alternatively arrange collection during the week before by calling Andi Butler on 01484 648023 or by emailing a.butler150@btinternet.com.
