LADY Margaret Kagan’s best friend has just published a book about her childhood in Vienna.

Liesl Muller-Johnson’s book ‘Rosl’s Daughter’ tells the story of how she toured the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the 1920s as a child cabaret star.

The book is published by the Book Guild, price £16.99, and available online at

Liesl travelled from her home in Hampshire to speak at Lady Kagan’s funeral at Huddersfield Town Hall last month.

Margaret and Joseph Kagan are both mentioned in the book.
