A NEW Boots pharmacy has been opened by a charity chairman.
The former Alliance Pharmacy in Mirfield has been revamped and renamed ‘Your local Boots pharmacy’.
John Denham, chairman of trustees for Kirkwood Hospice, cut the ribbon to officially open the Huddersfield Road store.
Boots and Alliance Pharmacy have recently merged to form Boots UK.
The Mirfield store has been re-fitted and re-stocked and now customers can buy from the Boots own brand range of cosmetics and toiletries.
