A MAN called Ferrari smashed up three cars in a booze-fuelled frenzy.
Richard Ferrari attacked the cars on Blackmoorfoot Road, Crosland Moor, shortly before midnight on June 30.
He caused damage to the bodywork and smashed the windows. of a Citroen C1, a Ford Mondeo and a Fiat Punto.
The total damage was £2,000.
At Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday Ferrari, 21, a lifeguard, of Colders Lane, Meltham, pleaded guilty to three charges of damaging cars.
He also admitted damaging plant pots on the same date.
Ferrari’s solicitor, Ashad Khan, said:“There is no explanation for it; he accepts it was wrong.’’
In a statement the magistrates told Ferrari: “It never ceases to amaze us the stupid things people do when they have been drinking.”
The court put Ferrari under a six-week curfew covering the hours 6pm to 5am on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and from 7pm until 7am on Sundays.
He was also ordered to pay a fine and damages totalling £1,978.
