A TEENAGE boy was threatened with a knife in a street robbery.

The 15-year old was mugged in White Hart Drive, Newsome, by an older youth.

The attack happened on Saturday, April 30, at about 11.10pm.

The suspect asked the boy if he had any credit on his phone and when the victim tried to make out he didn’t have a phone, the suspect threatened him with a pocket knife.

The victim then handed over a Blackberry Curve mobile phone and the suspect ran off.

He was described as being white, slightly tanned, slim and around 5'5" tall.
