THREE youths have been issued with a warning after reports of motorbikers being a nuisance.

Hipperholme police issued warnings to three Bradford youths after catching them driving round Shibden Hall Road and the Wood Lane bridal path in a manner which disrupted the neighbourhood.

But police are continuing to appeal for residents to report the nuisance bikers.

Sgt Dean Maddocks said: “Can I ask that residents in the area continue to report these incidents, especially note the registration numbers of vehicles being used to transport these bikes?

“We are also in discussions with Calderdale Council regarding other preventative measures which could reduce this problem.”

The three bikers were spotted using a quad bike at Brods Quarry over the Easter weekend.

The officer told them to stay away from the area and said if they were seen again their bikes would be seized.

The action follows a spate of similar problems reported to the police by residents in the area.

Patrols were stepped up which resulted in the offending bikers being caught on Wednesday.
