LARGE parts of Bradford Road were cordoned off after a teenager was stabbed in the early hours of this morning.

At 4:25am police were called to Fartown after the ambulance service received calls that an 18-year-old man had been stabbed.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the stabbing and are currently in custody.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital where he is in a stable condition.

Police restricted part of Bradford Road from D J Screens and Sons funeral home to Hillhouse Lane, part of Cobcroft Road and outside Fartown 24-hour off licence on the corner of Willow Lane and Bradford Road.
