TWO Bradley women are staging a Ladies in Pink night to raise cash for charity.
Neighbours Jan Barker and Lauren Walker, both 36, will take part in the women-only Race for Life, which takes place on the weekend of June 27-28 at Leeds Road playing fields.
The event aims to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
But Jan said: “Rather than asking for sponsor money directly, we hope to give people something for their money, so we decided to organise this event.”
The Ladies in Pink evening will be held at 7.30pm on Thursday, May 14, at the Woodland Glade Centre in Bradley.
It will include stalls selling books and cosmetics, make-up advice, a raffle and also a tombola.
