POLICE have made a new appeal for witnesses to an assault outside a newsagents on Bradley Mills Road in Huddersfield.

The incident happened at 8.20pm on November 25, when the shopkeeper was chased by two youths he suspected of taking alcohol from the rear of his van.

The victim, 45, was assaulted in the road.

The suspects are described as Afro-Caribbean men, aged between 18 and 20 and of medium build. Both were wearing hoodies, one grey and one black. One of the men is believed to have a shaved head.
