HUNDREDS of drivers faced traffic jams in the latest phase of road works in Bradley Road, Huddersfield.

Workers moved to the junction of Bradley Road and the Pennine Business Park, shutting lanes as part of a road improvement scheme.

The work is to replace four traffic islands and create two new ones on the stretch of Bradley Road from its junction with Leeds Road up to the business park, as well as resurfacing much of the road. Work started at the end of June and is expected to finish by July 25.
