AN award-winning brass band will stage a third annual concert to raise funds and awareness of gallbladder cancer.
Black Dyke Band, from Bradford, will be taking part in the concert at Dewsbury Town Hall on March 21 from 7.30pm.
The concert is in aid of Pat’s People, a campaign set up by Graham Willis whose wife Patricia Willis died of gallbladder cancer in 2010.
Graham decided the best thing he could do was try to assist the doctors who treated his wife. He became a fundraiser for the Ray of Hope Trust Fund for the Hepatobiliary Department.
In March 2011, the first concert was arranged by Graham and his family and the concert has continued annually since then.
