A BRATWURST seller wants to set up his stall in Huddersfield.
Andrew Widdop has asked Kirklees Council for permission to sell German sausages from two sites in the town centre.
He wants to set up his bratwurst stand opposite Boots on Victoria Lane and outside W H Smith on King Street. Mr Widdop has asked for permission to trade between 8.30am and 5pm from Thursday to Saturday.
Clr Julie Stewart-Turner, who represents the area on Kirklees, has objected to the plan, saying both sites are unsuitable.
The council’s Regulatory Panel will rule on the proposal on June 6 at 10am at Huddersfield Town Hall.
